The room I stayed in was kind of small, which made it a bit tricky to move around, especially with luggage. The bed was comfy, and the AC worked well, which was nice. The bathroom had a step that was a little awkward, and the shower situation was a bit dated. It was clean, though, and had everything I needed. Just really, really small.

Perfect Location for a Kyoto Adventure!
I stayed for 6 nights in a compact room, but the unbeatable location made up for the cramped space. Steps from the Kyoto Station and local eateries, I loved grabbing breakfast at the cafe downstairs. Friendly staff enhanced my experience. Make sure to travel light!

Had an awesome time with friends! Location is unbeatable, right across from the station. We visited the food court under the tower and enjoyed a relaxing massage. Clean rooms, and staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend checking out the local pubs behind the hotel too.
The room size was a bit cramped, making it tricky for all of us to move around comfortably, especially with luggage. It was tough to navigate, especially when one side of the bed was against the wall.

Clean room, friendly staff, great location, making it easy to access public transport to explore nearby attractions and a variety of dining options just steps away. The amenities like free wi-fi and 24-hour reception were convenient.
Everything went smoothly.

The location at Hokke Club is amazing, right across from Kyoto Station. I loved the convenience of hopping on the subway or bus without any hassle. The room was clean and amenities were great, including free wifi. However, the room felt cramped with two large suitcases, making it hard to move around. I even stubbed my foot a few times in the oddly elevated bathroom. Also, the room was uncomfortably warm on arrival, and it took a while to cool down after a long day of walking. Perfect for exploring but not ideal for large luggage or anyone needing extra space.

A combination of hits and misses
The location is unbeatable just steps from the train and bus station plenty of shops and eateries surrounding the area. The staff is friendly and helpful with excellent wi-fi.
Rooms are quite small which can be challenging especially for two people with luggage. The view from the window was disappointing as it faced another structure.

The location is fantastic, just steps from the underground entrance to the train station, making it easy to explore the city. The room's layout was a bit cramped, especially when trying to use the shower and sink simultaneously, which could lead to accidental dousing while brushing teeth. A highlight was the cold meat available in the cafe downstairs, adding convenience for a quick bite before heading out. However, the warm toilet seat felt oddly uncomfortable, and some buttons seemed non-functional.

We had a great stay here with our kids and two dogs. The location was ideal for exploring Kyoto, and the nearby subway access made it super convenient. The staff were accommodating, and the room, while cozy, had everything we needed for our family.
In my wife’s opinion, a little more space would make it easier for families to manage luggage and toys.

Recommended for Solo Travelers
I had a great stay at this hotel, it was super close to the main station which made navigating the city easy! The staff were unbelievable, they even helped me when I sprained my ankle and provided directions to the nearest hospital.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but honestly worth every penny.
